I had no idea how many atheist blogs there were. I've no doubt there numbers are dwarfed by religious sites of every brand, but it's encouraging to see a number of voices out there.

Then again, if there are enough of either stripe then I suppose they can all blogroll each other and never notice the other world's existence... is this a good thing?

Actually, they're mostly "Blogs by Atheists," rather than "Atheist blogs" like mine which discuss some atheistic/religious topic each day. The Catholic blogs discuss religion much more and are more organized, having a website, Praise of Glory, which lists quite a few of them.

I list a few religious sites on my "Blogs by Godidiots" list, and I'm sure a number of those on the "Other Sites of Interests" list have some religion, even if they don't talk about it in their blog. And a number of the Catholic sites I have attacked have placed me on their blogrolls.

True, those are the words your website uses — to make such a distinction sounds a bit like listing "documents by atheists" when the atheistic component of such documents might not be the primary thrust. Without having visited all the sites you list, surely they at least have the temerity to wear their hearts on their sleeves every now and then, which is what qualifies their listing?

lol. I think the theory of relativity, at least, is pretty atheistic. And yes, the only reason I know is that they've either declared their belief it in their blog at some point, or admitted it after I've interrogated them in an e-mail.
